GreenGuard® P1450 Siding Underlayment

In residing applications GreenGuard® P14 is installed over the old wood siding. By installing GreenGuard® Underlayment over the old siding, a smooth level installation surface can be achieved.

GreenGuard® P14 Siding Underlayment is our “better” value 1/4” thick fanfold siding underlayment. It is Extruded Polystyrene foam (XPS) with flexible plastic facers on both sides, perforated to permit moisture vapor escape.

GreenGuard® P14 Siding Underlayment provides a 4’ x 50’ continuous air and moisture barrier and provides the low moisture absorption typical of XPS.

The R-Value of GreenGuard® P14 Siding Underlayment is 1.0.

Kingspan® RainDrop® Housewrap

New and innovative! Kingspan® RainDrop® approaches the area of moisture management in two ways. First, as a barrier, it has typical housewrap moisture and air penetration resistance. But, it is unique in that it also is designed as a drainage plane. When siding is installed over Kingspan® RainDrop®, channels remain for water to drain away from the surface and, with the water gone the surface moisture dissipates through normal drying by evaporation. New Kingspan® RainDrop® is a woven, non-perforated wrap that provides exceptional tear resistance approaching that of our “original green tough stuff” Kingspan® Classic Wrap. In addition, Kingspan® RainDrop® breathes to allow moisture vapor to escape from the wall cavity.

The 9’ x 100’ roll is convenient and lightweight. Each roll weighs approximately 15 pounds.

Use Kingspan® T255UL Contractor Tape with this product for best tape adhesion to the uneven surface.
